Our Story

Kay is a visionary entrepreneur and the proud owner of The Garage event space. This unique venue started as an actual auto body garage that she purchased and began renovating during the COVID pandemic. The Garage project evolved into a creative endeavor, involving the design and collection of distinctive functional pieces, alongside countless hours of renovation work.

The transformational remodel was hands-on with her partner, Jack. They scoured local antique shops and junkyards for appropriate lighting, furniture, and fixtures. After a February 2020 open house and the pandemic, they soundproofed the ceiling and enhanced the outdoor areas with handmade Adirondack chairs and delightful outdoor spaces. Kay cultivated a vibe in the space that is modern, clean, tasteful, unique, and inviting. The Garage has become a cherished gathering spot and an ideal venue for rehearsal dinners, retreats, workshops, and business meetings in the Gorge.
